Charts should be read from right to left and not from left to right. It’s just one of those things that we must un-learn, to do things correctly.
By reading the chart from right to left it will be impossible for the developing wave to escape our attention. Also, the correct time frame will magically appear.

When drawing lines on a chart every tic counts. Never use a crayon. And never, ever use candlesticks, as they are completely useless for intraday charting. Worse, they are attractive visually and can steal from the finer points of analysis. Test this statement: Watch how many drawings you see on candlesticks that MISS the precise bottoms and tops.
